Hello I'm Jasmine Avril and I am an artist and educator and I am passionate about combining these two professions and transmitting the potential of creative practice to others. 

I have a PhD from the University of Sydney, where I examined how the individual channels and heightens subjective experience when desiring creative outcomes. 

I have experience designing courses and teaching in universities over three continents, in Australia, Europe and Asia. These experiences have compelled me to make education more engaging through inspiring students to realise their potential by participating in activities that challenge the complacent educational models of the past. The workshop I am presenting here is a manifestation of the experimental education models I am designing and which aim to inspire participants to be more fully engaged in life and work. 

In my creative practice I attempt to look for ways to combine engagement and experience into art, turning away from the static observance of objects and turning towards a more active interpretation of art’s possibilities.

I work throughout Europe, in the United States and Australia. I have adapted all the content for these innovative workshops so they can be presented online.
